Bruce S. MacDonald

Director and Co-founder

Bruce brings 30 years of commercial real estate investment experience spanning various asset classes. He is the co-founder of one of the first investment companies primarily focused on net lease property.  That company has closed over $14 billion in transactions.  

Douglas F. Blough

Director and Co-founder

Douglas is the chief architect of investment strategies for his real estate investment firm, and a renowned innovator in the technical structuring of sale leaseback transactions. For over 30 years, his firm has been a pioneer in the high-leverage, triple net lease arena. The firm is also among the largest owners of government occupied property in the nation.

Jody Anderson

Executive VP, Operations

Jody brings over 25 years of experience in plant operations, training, coaching, mentoring, and developing employees of all levels up to department heads, building teams and leading teams through change.

He is experienced in managing budgets and P&L, developing strategic plans, and creating operations policies with a focus on continuous improvement. Jody has worked extensiely in streamlining processes across multiple facilities, including production lines, warehousing and transportation logistics. At NLC Energy, he has created a safety-first culture with a record of no reportable safety incidents over the several-year duration of his oversight, all while growing staff from six to over thirty employees and while scaling up production from 25% to 100% capacity in the same period.

Amy Beaman

Executive VP, Organizational Development & HR

Amy has 25 years’ experience working in HR, employment law, and organizational development as a leader in-house, as consultant, and as an instructor. She has a passion for enhancing workforce structure and organizational design, developing leadership and talent, creating a work culture aligned with its core values, and for creating effective organizational behavior. Amy’s integral role at NLC Energy focuses on building high functionality through communication skill building and personal development.

Paul Glatkowski

Executive VP, Engineering

Paul offers technical expertise and project management, bringing 30 years’ experience as a Chemical Engineer in product development to our team, in addition to many earned patents and awards.

Before joining NLC Energy, he served as the Foundry Process Manager at Watts Water Technologies, then the most advanced lead-free bronze foundry in the world.  As CTO at Eikos, Inc., Paul invented Invisicon technology and developed other intellectual property, some of which is still used today in cell phones made by Apple and Samsung.  Partnering closely with operations, Paul’s engineering team has restarted, and broadly expanded the capabilities at NLCE’s Denmark, WI facility.

 

 

Welles Hatch

Chief Financial Officer Welles is a leader in technology, operations and finance for private and social sector organizations. He specializes in building teams and resources to enable and scale operations, drawing from his experience as CFO and CIO for a range of growth stage organizations, developing operations, back-office infrastructure, and technology strategies to support expansion, as well as capital strategies for financings from seed and growth stage equity to senior debt, project finance, capital lease financing and associated incentives.

Brad Petersen

Executive VP. Business Development An avid outdoor adventurer, Brad brings a passion for the environment and over 25 years of leadership experience in helping start-ups, turn arounds, newly acquired companies, and fortune 50 companies to grow in value and profitability. In 2013 Brad was appointed by the Governor of Utah to create a new, cabinet level, public office, the Utah Office of Outdoor Recreation, where he championed access to and stewardship of the state’s wilderness resources. The office has been replicated in 18 other states. As the Chairman of the Board of the nonprofit, National Ability Center, Brad strives to empower people struggling with physical, cognitive and developmental challenges through adaptive outdoor recreation.

Jay Riker

Chief Operating Officer Jay brings over 20 years of leadership experience in Technical Manufacturing across Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, and wood products. Additional time spent at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as a research scientist binds his business expertise with his knowledge and passion for renewable energy, and will help NLC Energy grow in the RNG sector.
