HOW IT WORKS
NLC Energy provides the equipment, infrastructure and systems to offtake waste from the farm.
The manure is piped or trucked to our digesters for processing, creating renewable natural gas which can be used for transportation, heating, or manufacturing.
NLC Energy returns nutrient rich biomass to the farm for bedding or land application.
SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS
Untreated manure which would otherwise accumulate in noxious lagoons on the farm is diverted for processing at our plant. Harmful methane and CO2 are kept from emission into the atmosphere, captured instead for processing. Toxic lagoons are reduced (or eliminated), along with carbon footprint.
Renewable natural gas from our process then replaces energy from fossil fuels – further reducing greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
